MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Since 1950, when our Association was founded, the aims of AQEIC have been mainly based on promoting the relationship between the sectors which compose the tanning industry in technological and service aspects. Such aims have been maintained thanks to the several Presidents and their respective Boards of Directors.

According to the Rules, in this year, 2006, a new president should be elected and the members of the Association saw fit to elect me as president.

After 56 life years of the Association, it is an honour to take over even though it is also a responsibility which I will not avoid with the help of a Board of Directors that feels the tanning, that experiences it.

We are facing important challenges in our sector due to the dynamic of the world in this millennium in the different socioeconomic aspects in which our industry is immersed.

The doors of AQEIC are open to everyone in order to join efforts to be able to overcome such challenges.

Our greatest and best reward will be that all members find in our Association a meeting point for cooperation and support.

AQEIC, loyal to its objectives, will keep on making its best in the organization of trainings, technical conferences and spreading the current situation of the technological sector. However the Board of Directors will be very pleased to receive any suggestions, that is for sure.
